WIL placement this February at JDR

At JDR Software, we feel it’s important to contribute to the Higher Education industry in any way we can. We regularly offer work integrated learning (WIL placement) positions to high-achieving, enthusiastic, motivated students in their final year of study.

This month we are pleased to welcome Ishrat Jahan and Justin Goh. Both of whom are studying a Bachelor of Information Technology at Deakin University.

Ishrat is studying for a Bachelor of IT, with a Cyber Security major. From a very young age, Ishrat had a love and passion for technology and science. Her goal is to understand how computer code can make computers follow certain objectives to automate tasks and make people’s life easier.

During her WIL placement at At JDR Software, she hopes to have the opportunity to move beyond institutional formal education and gain valuable industry work experience. “I see that my role requires someone who is a strategic thinker and has exceptional attention to detail.”

Justin hails from Malaysia and has chosen to pursue a career in IT as he’s keen to understand how technology can help drive efficiencies in commerce and industry. Whilst at JDR Software he hopes to hone and develop his problem solving and critical thinking skills.

We’re looking forward to working with both Ishrat and Justin. We hope they gain that all-important industry experience to set them up in their respective careers.
